Here's what one of our Customers wrote about us:
Once upon a time my wife and I were enjoying a warm summer night cruise, in our little red convertible, through the surrounding foothills of Orange County California . The big open sky did not have a single cloud in sight and the bright full moon reminded us of a delicious Italian pizza that we once had in Little Italy. Here’s a reality check. Obliviously we were not in Little Italy, but Anaheim Hills near the 91 Freeway. To our surprise we quickly came across a lovely Italian Kitchen and Pizzeria called First Class Pizza, which is located at 731 S. Weir Canyon Rd, Anaheim Hills, California, among many shops and markets in the Sycamore Canyon Plaza.
From the outside looking in, First Class Pizza looks like another mundane looking eatery. I offered to my wife to keep driving until we found a real Italian restaurant or maybe a California Pizza kitchen. I was not looking for routine pizza from Pizza Hut, or Italian food from an Olive Garden. I had New York style Little Italy pizza on my mind, if you know what I mean. She said, “this place looks good let’s give it a try and I like the little curtains on the window." Plus, the banner across the window suggested that we might had stumbled onto a special little Italian restaurant, which read, "People from Anaheim Hills, to Villa Park, Huntington Beach and all over Orange County insist this is the Best Pizza in O.C."
Once inside, whoa this place looked like an ordinary pizzeria with a very casual and family style Italian Pizza Kitchen atmosphere. It was very busy for a Sunday night. I turned to my wife, and said, “Are you sure we can find a Little Italy style pizza here?” She said, “Yes of course, can’t you smell the wonderful aroma coming from the kitchen? Let’s get ourselves a table so we can place our order.”
The dinning area is setup as a typical Pizzeria, we felt like we were sitting right in the middle of the kitchen. My wife was right, this Pizzeria had a wonderful aroma coming from the baking of the Italian style pizza dough and the sauces brewing in the kitchen. And, the choices on the menu are excellent and not typical of your ordinary pizzeria or pizza hut.
For starters, we ordered the oven-baked potato wedges to share, which turned out to be our first pleasant surprise. Next I ordered the small Antipasto Salad with pepperoni, Canadian bacon, salami and pepperoncinis. My wife ordered the Caesar Salad, with the First Class lettuce mix, shredded parmesan, croutons and grilled chicken. We were not disappointed at all, finding both very pleasing, plus my beer was very cold and my wife enjoyed a glass of Merlot.
For Pizza, we ordered one of their Specialty Pizzas that is called the Basilicious. We got the 12 inch medium, which was served piping hot with fresh basil, Roma tomatoes, fresh garlic and what they claimed to be their FCP seasoning. The delicious taste the pizza and the aroma of the Italian kitchen truly propelled our memory back to Little Italy. And, it was all for a bargain price and without the airfare.
We now make First Class Pizza of Anaheim Hills one of our mandatory stops when driving the hills of around Anaheim, Yorba Linda and Villa Park. We suggest that if you get the urge for good Italian food or a first class Pizza, then remember the Anaheim Pizza Kitchen, home of First Class Pizza, in Anaheim Hills. You will not be disappointed in the value, quality of food and over-all experience. You will truly find this ordinary Little Italy styled pizza kitchen restaurant to be an extra-ordinary experience.
